TYLOO have advanced to the FACEIT Major's New Legends Stage after beating Spirit 2-0 in the New Challengers Stage (16-12 on Overpass and 25-23 on Inferno).

The best-of-three fifth Swiss round match kicked off on Overpass with the Chinese team on the CT-side. Pavel "⁠COLDYY1⁠" Veklenko got three opening kills in the pistol round to win it for Spirit who then lost the second round.

Vadim "⁠DavCost⁠" Vasilyev & company were able to hit back in the third round but TYLOO shut them down for five rounds in a row to lead 6-2. Spirit got their third round with an eco victory but TYLOO remained in the lead at the end of the half, finishing it 11-4 ahead.

Spirit opened up the second half with a clean pistol defense, trailing 11-5. HaoWen "⁠somebody⁠" Xu got a triple kill in the first weapon round to extend TYLOO's lead to 12-7. Kevin "⁠xccurate⁠" Susanto made it 13-9 with a quad kill and TYLOO closed out the game with a 16-12 final scoreline.

The T-sided TYLOO won the pistol round on Inferno thanks to Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand's triple kill but Spirit answered back with four rounds in a row. TYLOO fought their way back to a 4-4 scoreline but Viktor "⁠sdy⁠" Orudzhev's 1vs1 and COLDYY1's 1vs2 made it 6-4 in favor of Spirit.

After getting six rounds in the first half, TYLOO started the second half with the pistol victory to trail 9-7. Spirit's early buy worked out as sdy got a quad kill in a 3vs4 post plant, making it 10-8.

TYLOO earned their ninth round with BnTeT's ace and reached double digits with an eco win (12-10). TYLOO took the lead but sdy tied it up with a 1vs3 clutch (13-13). Following clumsy plays from both sides in the last four rounds, the match went to overtime.

TYLOO closed out the map 25-23 in the third overtime, winning the series 2-0, and advancing to the New Legends Stage at the FACEIT Major with a 3-2 record. Spirit, on the other hand, have been eliminated with two wins and three losses.
